(12,341 posts)I didnt like hearing that third-party votes for president are wasted votes. But there was no denying his argument about why the vote for president is a vote for a party.
The gist is that a vote for president isnt for an individual. Its about the vast number of people who will be running government under a new administration. This, coupled with a really great explanation of the electoral college, convinced me for good.
I aligned more closely with Democratic Party philosophy than Republican, and I would prefer to have a Democratic cabinet and appointees. There was nothing that I supported in the GOP platform, so why would I take an action that would help them sweep into office?
She has so much on the line. I hope she comes around, but she will need to figure it outand believe it for herself.
