(13,383 posts)to be made in our voting system. And what we have right now is two major parties and a few that only get a very small percentage each time. So if you vote with that last group and you want womens rights you may completely lose them if Trump wins again.
Republicans like the way things are so if you vote 3rd party nothing will change if they win. At least with dems they are trying to ratify women's rights in all states and have abortion be legal in all again.
Tell her the more her generation sits back and doesn't get involved is the more older folks will get elected. If more gen x voted they could see a major change and she needs to be part of it, like Obama said be the change you want to see.
Until we get ranked choice voting another party will not get in.
