31. It depends. (No pun intended.)

My theory is that Trump still holds sway over Republicans in the House and the Senate b/c of his possible return to the WH. They either want a piece of the action (power and authority) or they're outright afraid of him. If the latter, the fear is that he'll find a MAGA candidate to primary them and get a bunch of voters to remove them -- or he has "the goods" on them (dossiers).

My hope is that if/when Trump loses in the GE this year, it may eventually be over. If there is no chance of Trump holding power again, he loses a lot of leverage. What's he going to do to them? Ban them from golfing with him? Cancel their membership at Bedminster, Mar-A-Lago?

The Mob Boss could be just a specter in 12 months.
