I mean, I absolutely think it is wise to ban it from all federal employee's work devices. I also think people should be discouraged from using it. However, the idea of banning it seems too much like something China or Russia would do. That rubs me the wrong way. But at the same time, it is a risk .. but so are all the other social media networks.

Then there is the practical aspects of it. Sure, remove it from the stores, but people will just side load it. I supposed we could talk about blocking connections, but that some great firewall of China stuff.. it would also be mostly ineffective since VPNs will bypass that. Well, unless we get really really creepy
