Regardless of if it is criminal or not, we have to start taking it seriously. Voting alone is not going to be enough, especially if you have people who believe the last election was stolen. That didn't stop a potential insurrection from occurring. I read somewhere a lot of the FBI and DOJ are Trump sympathizers. If we don't remove them, your democracy is gone. You may be right in terms of the First Amendment, but that doesn't mean we should just it let it go. Dictators know that if they can find weaknesses, such as the judiciary, voting, etc., it will be easy for them to get power and it will be very difficult to remove.
