11. The APPEAL and the JUDGEMENT are separate

Trump can Appeal and file a Bond, in which case the judgements will be paid immediately when the Appeal is dismissed.
Trump can Appeal and NOT file a bond, in which case the AG can proceed with judgement claims against his assets.
Trump can NOT Appeal and can pay the judgement.
Trump can NOT Appeal and NOT pay the judgement, n which case the AG can proceed with judgement claims against his assets.

Trump has the legal right to appeal his decision. But he has been found liable for the fraud charges (not "guilty" since this is a civil case) and the judgement has been imposed. The claims against him can be processed beginning Monday (whether or not he appeals), OR he can file a bond which will result in immediate payment to the AG if the appeal is denied.

nb: Ań appeal of a Court ruling is based on a claim of either judicial misconduct or a flaw in the ruling. Additional "facts" cannot be introduced into evidence at this point.
