(6,960 posts)First I looked for the original source just to make sure that this wasn't some kind of disinformation meant to smear PETA.

So, the PETA tactic seems to be that any publicity is good publicity, especially if they can make the news by offending average, ordinary folks who are trying the best they can to survive in this economy.
Well, even for those who might at some level be sympathetic, this kind of 'publicity' tends to make PETA what apparently it is: a joke.
But what do they care? Always some celebrity ready to be pictured for their cause ... that's an effective message for regular folks ... millionaires who have the luxury to be 'vegans' ... ( yeah, really, I'll bet
).
