and the rhetoric and threat of violence increasing month after month and seeing these idiots are not budging.... and reading all the shit here on DU regularly doesn't put me at any greater east.

As I get older, I realize what is happening might not be as fleeting as I would have thought when I was younger. I have more to lose now and my love for and concern for the protection of my family has grown ever more.

FFS, I've contemplated getting an AR.. Never would have thought that 8-10 years ago.. but I'm headed that direction. WTF?
