(2,531 posts)9. My dad always quipped that he was a drunk, not an alcholic because he refused to go to meetings.
At least he was honest about it.
People who keep getting busted for DUI and not tossed into prison make me suspect too many judges drink and drive also, and just don't see it as a threat to the public.

He's almost certainly already already served jail/prison time in Wisconsin

After the third conviction kick the penalty up to a year in jail for every new conviction.
