From the 30's through the 50's. This to replace native Ukrainians, Tartars, and other groups found not to be loyal to Stalin.
She may have been born in Ukraine, but her family historically might well be ethnic Russians, and owed much of their relative prosperity in Ukraine to the old Soviet resettlement policy.
