Michael Steele dared to say the media is giving inconsistent messages and Katy went off, not letting him answer her question as to 'what is the media?', interrupting him in a rapid fire way.

One could say, ‘The lady doth protest too much, methinks.’ from Shakespeare's Hamlet which is used in modern times to indicate doubt of someone's sincerity, especially regarding the truth of a strong denial.
