Why aren't these speeches against [View all]
Judge Merchan's daughter and the witness Cohen blatant violations of the gag order? And these are from Congress Critters summoned by the criminal Trump. It is so obvious what Trump is doing. I don't know why Trump isn't sent to lockup. It was shocking to see those people standing there making speeches against the trial process. They are against the rule of law. Where on G-d's green earth did these traitors come from?
It is disgusting and shameful what Johnson is doing. Utterly disgraceful. It is hard to believe that all of them do not privately think that he is guilty. Fortunately, we have 12 people to make that decision, and we don't need the Congressional Sycophants down there trying to defeat the way our courts work. The utter disrespect they are showing is just cringeworthy, and calls into question how their very brains work. They can never change those images. They're stuck with what we saw.
Gawd, I hope those jurors are tough and uncompromising as they weigh the evidence. Donald better stop trying to run the show and let his lawyers put up a defense. So far I don't see one. His defense consists of standing at the Courtroom door and demeaning the Court, the witnesses, and whoever pops into his head. He must feel his freedom slipping, because his rat weasels in the Congress have rushed down to speak for him when no other defense is appearing after the facts.
Michael Cohen isn't my cup of tea, but I appreciate his testimony and think that there's not much Trump can do about the truth. And, there it is, a class E felony which is on the books and is not made up. It is pretty plain what it says is a crime. Trump's claim that somebody else did it and he didn't know doesn't pass muster. It's one of those basic tenets of the law that your personal ignorance of what is a crime doesn't matter. You did it, it's your ultimate fault, so get ready for the mantle of felony.
I think the judge needs to act. Not sure what he can do, except maybe order the broadcasts to occur on the next block. But, something.
