We mock the right wing for saying that the solution to school shootings is "thoughts and prayers". Obviously a useless and naive non-solution to a rather complicated problem.

Yet you're holding biden responsible for failing to achieve peace in the Middle East -- the most notoriously complicated and intractable problem in all of global politics -- and your suggestion is basically just that he announces that he wishes for peace. Really just thoughts and prayers.

Please start by recognizing that this situation is massively more complicated than any thread on du has acknowledged. Theee are many players with competing interests in many countries. Not just within Israel and Palestine but also Saudi Arabia Iran Russia china America and others. Many of them have an interest in keeping the fighting going. There are side negotiations going on all the time, and there is constant sabotage of peace efforts. This is incredibly complicated.

The o.p. offers nothing constructive and helps pin the blame on Biden. And then you criticize a response that merely touches on why things aren't as simple as many wish it was.
