Libertarianism requires a willingness to believe that simple theoretical concepts apply to highly complex systems with many interactive variables.
It's not X therefore Y. It's this bunch of X's result in Y and exactly how is not simple.
Also, the Pollyanna view that "survival of the fittest" is somehow compatible with the "invisible hand" is blindingly stupid.
