I've actually been on DU under a couple of incarnations since the now relatively mild catastrophe of GWB. I'll be remaining scant on commentary and especially personal details here for profound reasons.
Inadvertently moved to a mountainous Midwestern small town rife with radicalized militia idiots in childhood half a century ago still places my LGBT self in significant personal jeopardy. A number of legal protections were placed long ago. Two others weren't as lucky.
There's never been a more stark chasm of "us and them" thank you idiot TFG. Albeit the worst offenders will remain imprisoned for life, this whole DT 'retribution' shit pie is indescribably hazardous to many here.
