Anything involving sexual assault, child or animal abuse, or election fraud is an automatic and permanent No from me.
Otherwise, lots of people have done dumb, illegal stuff when they are young, especially if they have struggled with addiction. That doesn't make them a bad or corrupt person. What matters is if they have properly handled their issues and moved on to a new way of living.
Tfg is a bad and corrupt person, whether or not he has felony convictions.

That's a No from me. Too recent for real and lasting change to have occurred within their life. We wouldn't nominate someone in that position, anyway.
