3. Why don't Democratic governors pre-empt a breakup with warnings now

I just do not see how the scientific community and citizens in the US West (CA, WA, OR) and the many Northeastern states and New England states can even withstand a minute of this Trump style dictatorship, Project 2025 and so on. I believe a strong warning now may help prevent a breakup. Not sure what these governors are waiting for? Most red staters are living on the productivity in blue states.

Do we have to see mayhem before these states issue a warning? I think Democrats are not taking the threat as seriously as they should. Alito Supreme Court is a mess. It irritates me to see Gallego, Rosen all doing better than Biden. What is wrong with women voters and pro-choice voters in Arizona and Nevada? How is electing Trump make any difference to the cause? How can these voters support pro-choice Gallego, anti-democracy Trump, and expect progress in a dictatorship?

I think the first warning shot need to be fires by CA and others now to save us. Governors should clearly say they will not obey orders from a fascist.
