...in the major media. One can imagine the media circus that would go on for weeks if a governor of CA, OR, etc. did something like that. But the implications are clear for anyone who has eyes, and in fact it's not just the stereotypical "People's Republic" states like CA and OR and the Northeast; the upper Midwest (particularly MN) is arguably more progressive than CA these days. It's important to be aware, however, that even the most progressive "blue" states still have large "red" areas, mostly rural, and there will no doubt be serious conflict if things go to hell in the nation overall.
