Garland made Weiss a special counsel on Aug. 11, 2023, at the request of Weiss. Weiss had jurisdiction in Delaware to prosecute Hunter for his gun crimes and making him sc allowed Weiss to prosecute Hunter in California for tax crimes.

Hunter failed to pay 1.4 million dollars in taxes, however, he did pay his taxes plus the fines. This crime is rarely prosecuted but Hunter could get 16 years in prison if found guilty.

No word yet if Garland will appoint a sc to investigate the 100 million dollars that TSF stole from the government for claiming a 651 million dollar deduction on his Chicago tower. TSF then created a holding company to double dip on his deduction.

We don't know what DOJ is doing, it doesn't leak.
