a firearms background check for isn't comparable to speeding tickets. It's a very serious offense to circumvent the system that is put in place to vet gun buyers. Granted, most people who do this are likely never caught so this is a case of drawing the short straw for sure, but the FBI and ATF don't take these things lightly, they generally have little mercy.
We'll know if he has been treated fairly when we find out the punishment. People go to jail all the time for far less serious crimes, but a max penalty or something will be completely uncalled for and unusual. If that happens, I will most certainly call foul.
