(6,028 posts)Any GOP minion gets no respect from me unless they admit T45 was a total mistake on their part. Until that happens I'm cool if we don't talk politics but if we do, it's game on. I have a degree in economics, I can call b$ on them w facts. How I go is to differentiate them from the truely obscenely wealthy crowd and how tax cuts for them hurt the economy and anyone who has to work for a living. And then i pivot to hiw Joe is changing history w the two biggest domestic government spending bills ever. He's fixing most every bridge in the USA and tons of other infrastructure. That was the one thing I hoped T45 would do however poorly but that former guy couldn't ever even get to the press conference stage. Joe had decades in the Senate he knew everyone and got them passed by the thinist margins. And I mention they got cut by a spoiled coal heir and a skeevy sellout (Senema), who are symotoms of our broken tax code and unlimited corporate campaign cash. Then I use their xenophobia to get them scared of foreign corporations being able to out spend their whole cohort. I hate MAGA, but the majority of GOP voters are just low information and really believe that false economic story the GOP has sold for a century now. We have to pick off those swing voters. The GOP has a coherent story we have to oppose it directly. Afterall Joe Biden is a moderate, it's just politics have shifted so far right he seema liberal. Joe is a nice guy and maybe he has moved to the left of his Senatorial history.
