In reply to the discussion: Gen Z influencers who supported Biden in 2020 turn against him [View all]Fiendish Thingy
(23,240 posts)21. You're missing the point.
Referencing Boomer-era songs (hijacked by the Trump campaign) to condescend to Gen-Zs, the most powerful untapped pool of voters in the country, is a losing strategy.
Thankfully, the Biden campaign has just hired a Gen-Zer to coordinate social media strategy, and hopefully she will have the power to steer the campaigns efforts in that area.

It's mind boggling to think they are so utterly unaware of the consequences of not supporting Biden right now.

They are acting out like this because their parents didn't have the guts to say, "No."

You are calling Gen Z 'entitled terrorists'? That's a productive track to gaining votes.

Yeah, wish they would have contacted someone who was old enough to vote in 2020.

The Gen Z vote is very important in the 2024 election - I do find it interesting not amusing.

IF this poll is remotely accurate & IF its results are remotely mirrored in the election, we are potentially in trouble

Meh. Half of Gen Z is living at home, waiting for their parents to drop dead.

They're as self-centered as Trump. It's all about them and what they want.
