In reply to the discussion: Trump says if he loses the 2024 election he will try to "stop it a second time," invoking January 6 [View all]BlueKota
(5,366 posts)34. Why is he not considered a clear and present
danger to the U.S. He is already stating he will only accept the results of the election if he wins?
I know some people will argue that he has his rights protected too because we are a democratic republic, but if he isn't willing to accept that concept for others, then to me he should be viewed as forfeiting those rights for himself. He is advocating violence. He is putting others in danger. Why are so many willing to just accept this and not do anything to protect his would be victims? It will be too late when they're dead.
He needs to just be locked permanently. No trial! Nothing just straight to a high security prision.

I think Republicans will cheat everywhere possible, with throwing the election to the House their best bet.

The problem is that too many still think Trump IS the President- they are the dangerous ones.

Well, this time he needs to be arrested and thrown in jail. Law abiding citizens are getting sick of this

Like last time, Trump won't do anything that could possibly put himself in harm's way.

Last time we all made popcorn and relied on the 'system' to right itself...that hasn't worked out so well.
