I hope the debate was a reality check for those DUers who always underestimate Trump.

96. I'm 80, and I assure you that being old does not play well when any sort of popularity evaluation is relevant.

I can also tell you that I may have experience and wisdom from experience, but my brain is not as quick as it once was. I am not nearly as articulate as I once was. My memory is not what it once was.

Biden is absolutely the choice over a professional liar who has "been preparing for this debate all of [his] life", that is, lying all of his life, a long term professional con man who "has the morals of an alley car". But Trump is a highly skilled liar, and as a result is very dangerous. Very scary

I do not understand why Biden is thought to be the only person who can beat Trump.

I say this sadly, but I wonder if Biden has enough humility to step aside, or party leaders have whatever it takes to do an intervention of some sort. I think we need a younger brain to cope with such a skilled liar.

And Biden comes across as being so old, walks like someone who is closer to 100.

Sorry for the pessimism.
