6. That's what's strange.

Republican commentator types have been bloviating forever that Biden should drop out, will drop out. That's what's always mystified me. Shouldn't they be embracing him? If he's the demented old fool they say he is?

Remember the WSJ hit story on Joe not long ago, all sorts of Republicans talking smack. No Dems named. This has been going on for a while, people.

"You supported Biden before the debate...now you don't. Why do you consider him unelectable now?" Self Esteem Jun 2024 #22
Hmmmm, poor debate performance vs guilty of rape and 34 other felonies. Yep, Joe has got to go. NoMoreRepugs Jun 2024 #2

I think they are glad Biden is the opponent, just like many here want trump not some younger A-wipe. The whole election Silent Type Jun 2024 #10
Then why don't they act like it? shrike3 Jul 2024 #23

Sorry, if the Repubs were glad Biden was running against their guy, they'd be a lot quieter. shrike3 Jul 2024 #26

I don't. And history has given us good examples of what happens when the incumbent is replaced. shrike3 Jul 2024 #29

Sanders is old. He had a heart attack while campaigning in 2016. shrike3 Jul 2024 #32
I don't think Sanders in Vermont is the same as a Presidential candidate in a race with trump. Silent Type Jul 2024 #33
Okay. I get it, you think Joe should drop out. shrike3 Jul 2024 #34
I want Bidens and advisors to make an honest assessment. They are the ones that know whether Thursday is likely Silent Type Jul 2024 #35

I just told you. If they think Biden won't perform poorly again and can soldier on, we need to get behind him. Silent Type Jul 2024 #37
So if they do "an assessment" and they proclaim him fit to run, will that be enough? shrike3 Jul 2024 #38
