(11,810 posts)He thinks trump is incompetent, stupid, corrupt, and terrible.
He thinks Democrats are also terrible. They talk about helping the workers and do nothing but ensure that the military industrial complex is enriched
sure theyll throw a few bones here and there, but at the end of the day, the war machine gets the grease. His number one priority, by far, is removing the US from all wars. Period. Ukraine, Israel
forget it. Hes never talking about Russia
but he sure does mention what a good day it was for Raytheon, General Dynamics, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin when Ukraine or Israel gets our weapons.
Not impressed with Newsome going to a dinner party at the French Laundry after ordering everyone to stay home during COVIDs peak. He views Democrats through the lense of such elites lecturing the masses about what they should do while not doing those things themselves
.see Al Gores carbon footprint
or rich people flying their private planes to some high end resort town to discuss climate change. This breeds his cynicism.
He is most definitely pro choice, but the loss of that right was met with more of an oh well than a call to arms
in other words, not a top priority, but a nice to have.
He is definitely pro worker, pro universal health care
.was a full on Bernie guy until he had to be a Stein guy.
Theyre still out there.
No apologies for the Supreme Court either. Its all kabuki theater to him anyway. He does take some of George Carlins political views quite literally about trusting nothing and nobody in the government.
Big Assange fan
big Greenwald fan
big Taibbi fan, big Snowden fan. He will note how many here were fans when they were going after the right, but got mad when they criticized our side.
He criticizes the left more than the right. I like to think its because the right is so far gone, its not worth it. Hes very opposed to rigid orthodoxy, whether left or right (Carlin discussed this). So purity pledges about DEI at universities, for example, which is sort of a thing, are very bad
hes not wrong about such political purity pledges. There have been some professors losing their jobs or being ostracized for not publicly committing to key mantras.
