With their ruling that the SC determines what is covered by immunity and what isn't they protect AND control Trump for the people who bought them. The goal is to keep Dems out of government, especially the WH, put their own guy in, get their agenda fulfilled through him, and control how far he can go in serving himself more than the puppet masters of the SC 6.
