57. It would have been unprecedented for Anyone to step run against Biden

Newsom was increasing his profile prior to Biden announcing his run for re-election. Once Biden announced, Newsom respected him and gave full throated support. The only ones who didn't were deemed crackpots.
I was glad to see Biden resoundingly defeat the dumpster fire.
I watch all of the debates from 2020, and felt confident Biden was the only one who could do it. His arguments were clear, his statements were supported, and he had the confidence in what he was talking about.

After watching the debate in June and rewatching the 2020 debate I am concerned. I see stark differences in his abilities. I know that as a democratic party member I will vote D in this coming election across the board.
I agree most if not all democratic party members will do the same.

The independent voters are what will affect the outcome. They are the ones who saw the debates as well. I feel that we are losing them. Without them we will see another dumpster fire start again in 2025.

I am a clinical psychologist and I have worked on several Alzheimer's research projects measuring cognitive decline in longitudinal studies. I have not evaluated either of the presidents. So I would not even attempt to make diagnosis. I have observed their differences between the last three debates between them. I observed both nonverbal and verbal communication and the contrasts are obvious.
