Is it a good calculation? We'll find out.
People often forget or never knew that 2020 was a hell of a lot closer than it appeared on the surface. President Biden won the popular vote by 7 million. However, if Trump would have managed to shift around about 50,000 votes across Georgia, Wisconsin, and Arizona, it would have been a tie in the electoral college. The man wasn't making his illegal phone calls for nothin.
If you go with Georgia, Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, President Biden took them with a total of about 300,000 votes.
These are thin margins, and that's where the 2024 election is going to land. This is where it's going to be played out. If you keep everything exactly the same as 2020, but Trump can squeeze his base out just a little bit more, we can have a problem.
Like I said, I don't know if this is a good calculation, but I get why he's making it.
