She had no duty or obligation to talk to anyone, let alone the President who she did not personally know or vote for. Seriously people- if your spouse died and Trump called you less than 24 hours later to offer condolences, would you feel like talking to him?? People are entitled to grieve in peace without being political props or media targets.

She's grieving. Give her a pass instead of trying to make a political point off of her loss

I mean, I think it's pretty small to attack a grieving widow for not wanting to take a phone call

What matters is President Biden reached out and tried to offer condolences, as most presidents would do.

"I don't have any ill will towards Biden" but I won't take a call from the President...because he's Biden.

Ok. So in 2018, trump tries to call a democratic supporter, do they have to take the call?

I doubt that this occurred to the widow, but if she had taken Biden's call, she would have likely received death threats

Then she must be horrified the Democratic governor of the state ordered flags at half staff for him.

Also, she was polite enough to stress she did not blame Biden for what some 20 yr old wacko did

She is supporting a child rapist. What else needs to be said. That is all I need to know.

This keeps getting brought up, but I really think we need to give this woman a break.

When I hear the word devout used , I immediately think of a religion used behind it. Not a political party.
