I am not sure this country is that grown up to back a ticket like that. I wish I could say it would be great, but you know… misogyny.

I am in the “I wish we weren’t in this place” camp, but if I were to think of someone as the VP nominee, maybe Sen. Mark Kelly from Arizona. He has a lot of positives. In addition to being a retired astronaut, a great public speaker, married to Gabby Giffords, and being from a swing state, he also loathes both Trump and J.D. Vance with the heat of a thousand suns. He wouldn’t hold back.

I think by next week we will know exactly where we are headed into November. Wherever it is, either firmly with Joe Biden or on a new path, I will be there 1,000%.
