61. Riden with Biden

Lots of hand wringing and worrying about the election.
People keep saying Biden needs to do something. Someone needs to do something. Well guess what every single one of you who are reading ...you and I are someone and there is plenty we can do.

The simple solution to all the hand-wringing is to channel all your worry into getting busy. No one has to do anything difficult. No one has to bench press more than 350 lbs, or run a mile under 4 minutes.

If you can make phone calls, contact your local party office, Indivisible, etc, and make phone calls on behalf of your candidates. If you can write letters and postcards then write letters and postcards. If you can only talk, then talk to people. Maybe you want to invite a few of your neighbors over for some iced tea and talk about literature you can drop off, phone calls you can make, and people you can invite over to discuss politics. If you can donate money then donate as much as you are comfortable to the candidates or party of your choice. I believe all that it takes to have a landslide in this November election is for each of us to get one more person to vote for the Democratic party. And if enough of us care to get involved I believe Biden can win by 15 or 20 million votes. All we need to do is get busy and do simple little things between now and November.
