35. No they didn't. Someone with the local GOP (Precinct Chair) who lives in the neighborhood said they didn't.

I'm a precinct chair myself and I know how that works. I was waiting to hear from some of the locals involved in politics. "A neighbor who saw signs" may have mistaken the household etc.

Signs are usually obtained from the local party or ordered. (But you have to pay shipping! Better to get them locally. ) The precinct chair was out delivering signs and checking up on voters. She never saw a sign in their yard, nor did she deliver any to them. As a matter of fact, no one in the family was on list of Republican voters. Trust me, if I see a sign in the yard of someone who I have not identified, I will stop. Likewise, I was pretty upset when the former Democratic precinct chair turned against Biden and put up Latinos for Trump signs in his yard. I know where the signs are. I know the names of the voters and I know where they live. That's our job.

Just because someone "saw a sign" doesn't mean they may remember where they saw it. Random neighbors generally don't have access to the names and voting records of all the neighbors. When I see a sign, I write down the address and look up the voting history etc.

Two neighbors of would-be Trump assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks dismissed the attention drawn to his political affiliation, saying the family appeared to never have campaign signs of any stripe in their Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, yard

Amy, who spoke to reporters alongside Holly – a local GOP captain – attested that the media would be hard-pressed to find a neighbor who could vouch for any signs having been seen in the Crooks' yard.

"I give out the signs, and I've never given to that house, I'll tell you that," said Holly, who alluded to the fact Crooks was a registered Republican.

"I walk by here all the time, other neighbors do," Amy added. "You will not find one neighbor that will confirm or ever say they saw those signs in the yard."
