48. From reading it it is vague and with this SCOTUS?

It hinges around the line “no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice- President” which to me sounds pretty clear, though it dives into the hypothetical that if an ex-President was elected Speaker of the House they could ascend to the presidency that way if something happened to both the President and VP. But the language says nothing about any office other than that of VP.

Interesting thought experiment, I’m pretty confident this SCOTUS would never allow it, at least for a Democrat.
