It's not just Democrats who need to be brought into the coalition to defeat Trump, it is independents, green partiers, moderate Republicans and the perennial couch sitters on election day. But there was some self-centeredness going on, based on a long standing media promoted narrative about Biden's age that blew up after the debate and once again, the narrative got controlled by the media.
I hope Schiff wins, but running in a Senate election against a far right wing, has-been baseball player in California is a landslide waiting to happen. Unfortunately, for President Biden, he has to win voters in places like Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Arizona, where far left wing political rhetoric sounds like communism or being too woke. Our job is to convince people that we can be woke and far left, and equally benefit others wile not threatening anyone. President Biden did a great job at that. The same polls showing voters wanted Biden out showed that 65% want Trump out, that's us and another 35% of the electorate. That's where we win the election. Biden already built that coalition. Now, whoever our candidate is, the responsibility for getting those voters back lies with those who scared them off. Ante up, big donors, you need to fix the hole you made.
