5. If they believe in what President Biden wanted, they'll likely come back around.

The goal of everyone - including the much-reviled donors and Democratic party politicians who asked the president to step down - was always to ensure that Trump lose in November. The other motives that have been ascribed (they want Trump to win, they're buying tax cuts, etc.) are, and always were, ludicrous.

If the people protesting the decision truly believed in that goal before, nothing should have changed. Those suggesting any of the things you mentioned (withholding support, staying home, etc.) are being short-sighted and a bit selfish. It's about more than us as individuals, and always was. Every election is.

I think some probably need time to process what has happened and most will come around in the end. People got so heavily involved in the narrative that it will be difficult to let it go, but I'm hopeful they'll get there. The more, the merrier.
