He is the chief executive. He can exert absolute authority as granted in the constitution.

And, per the recent scotus ruling, he cant even be prosecuted for it if it breaks a law.

Will he?

He certainly doesnt have to worry about re-election impacts now. Just keeping kamala and his family safe.
