How many of us have his vast array of accomplishments and effectiveness while in office such as effective management of a plague and economic restoration?
He quashed the threat against democracy represented by Trump.
He set the stage for his successor's strength.
Being denied a second bite of the apple that none of us could ever achieve is NOT a sad story.
JB's physicality has decreased to reduce his ability to be effective. This is not JB's doing or JB's fault.
This man still has plenty of gas in his tank and will still be a formidable asset on the US and world stage.
I hope that he can be effectively deployed as a resource doing town halls, fundraising, private meetings, and serving as an envoy for special issues.
I do not see any of this traveling and enjoying the grandkids shit for this active and vital man. He should be given short-term assignments that utilize his experience, warmth, humor, and desire to serve.
It is entirely possible that he can be an even greater "rock star" in his "third act."
To feel sorry for him is to disrespect him.
