and is entirely capable and fit to serve out the next six months. He doesn't need a pity endorsement to finish out his term.

The question was always whether or not he had the energy to be President at the same time as he had to run the kind of campaign he needed to to beat Trump and then do the hardest job in the world until he was 86 given that he is clearly starting to feel the effects of time.

You can think "probably not" on the second proposition without conceding the first (that he's unfit for office now).
