(5,489 posts)19. When you've been living in a rural area of a very red state,
it's hard to feel that optimistic. Hearing all of the 'f' words shouted by people driving by, because of my yard signs, takes its toll.
All I'm saying is, while I fully share your enthusiasm, I also recognize that the battle will be a bitter one.

It will be another very close election. Polls, for all they are worth which isn't much, show a tied race.

Polls don't mean a thing. Yes, we want her to win. But forget handwringing over polls. They don't mean shit.
