She attended Leon Hess Comprehensive Secondary School in Saint Lucia (20132015) and St. Catherine High School in Jamaica (20152018). She then pursued a bachelor's degree in Youth & Community Studies at the University of Texas in the United States, combining academic studies and athletics.
Quite a few high school student athletes from the English-speaking Caribbean and from several countries in Africa attend our high schools and compete in Champs. She was one of them.

At a certain point I think these competitions simply become games of chance based on statistical noise...
