(2,801 posts)But I'm proud to load up my yard with signs for Democratic candidates. This is the first general election year where I am able to be vocal and public about my liberal leanings and mannnnn....it's like the top blew off my pressure cooker! I am spewing all over the place! I got back on Facebook just so I could take it to the Rethugs. I know there is no changing the minds of the MAGAts, but like others here have said, I'm preaching to the balcony. I hope my words are getting through to some anyway. I know it often feels futile, but we have to do what we can and posting on social media, volunteering locally, donating, and registering voters and knocking on doors are things I can do and I'M DOING IT!
I am a little scared when I pull up next to one of the big MAGA trucks. They often carry guns and they're nuts, so I avoid them--change my route, whatever it takes.
