5. Not any more rude than canvassing on a Sunday or Saturday morning imho

If you’re going to canvass, do it. But I wouldn’t worry much about the time as long as it isn’t obscenely early or late. But also consider how much people in your neighborhood might react… you would probably know that better than anybody else.
