embraced Trump's crude "social rebel" behavior and gaslighting as tools to defeat her because normal political discourse couldn't win against her knowledge and experience.

But Trump was a one trick pony, effective just that one time with backing from a racist backlash after Obama and help from Putin. He embraced the racist extremists and social misfits who identified with his rebellion and social outsider "bad boy" image.

His tactics failed to create a red wave in 2022. He revived the outsider bad boy image for 2024 by bragging about his indictments and showing off his mug shot. But his behavior in his election interference/hush money trial made him look weak. Harris's background as a prosecutor and her confidence, strength, and sanity as a candidate destroyed his image as a heroic outlaw. Her charisma is genuine, coming from a sincere liking of people. Trump's charisma was just a gaslighting impression of the real thing.

Remember how much he bragged about his indictments and sold images of his mug shot? Notice that he doesn't do it anymore? It's a liability now in this campaign, not an asset.
