Your book was a self-congratulatory paean that trashed an entire people whose community you only really lived on the edges of.
2. You talked about how proud you were to have an Ivy League education and that your "mamaw" helped you get it. When you went to Yale Law School, you'd had a tour with the Marines and an undergraduate degree from OSU. You were a grown-ass man and shouldn't have had to sponge off of your grandmother to go to law school. Shameful if you ask me. I thought Republicans had their own bootstraps.
3. Speaking of "mamaw," you really should stop using that word. Coming from someone with an Appalachian accent, it sounds genuine. Coming from you, it sounds contrived. It's pronounced "mamAW" with a hard "W," not "mam-ahh."
4. How do you live with yourself? You are willing to do anything and say anything in service of Peter Thiel and Donald Trump. Are you able to taste the food, or is all the shit you've eaten getting in the way? You know what you're saying is wrong when you say it. It's easy to see in your eyes. Doesn't it haunt you? Don't you know your kids are going to see these videos and know you for what you are? Are you as utterly amoral as Donald Trump? Do you want to raise kids that are as utterly amoral as his?
5. Stop talking. Shut the fuck up. I don't want to hear another self-justifying word from you.
