My son and daughter have both moved out with their respective partners. They are both absurdly well-off financially through their own abilities. They have both decided to remain childless, and have several cats and one dog among them.
I am a widower who has always had cats. My current crew consists of two sleek blackies and a grey floofmonster, all from the same feral litter. They revel in literary names: Ulthar Ynxpaht, Miss Katonic Neferkiti, and The Grey Mouser. (Anyone who recognizes the connection among all three names is my friend and soul mate for life!)
