43. Yeah, gotta say, that WAS bittersweet.

Oh how they clapped. Oh how they cheered. For what? Four solid minutes?

While that was nice, and even encouraging, there was a big part of me that was more bitter than sweet. I kept thinking - “WHERE were you guys a month ago???”

And what was President Biden supposed to make of that? “Oh, you like me NOW, ‘eh? Where were you a few weeks ago, when all I heard was ‘any chance you can LEAVE?’”

I heard that, too, Joe. They swallowed ALL the criticism and ignored the many great things he did and the actions he took. Following what’s perhaps THE BIGGEST gift he ever gave America: he beat trump.

I’m not at all sure that President Biden will EVER get all the love, support, support, OR gratitude he deserves. And that’s a shame. A MASSIVELY big shame.

And you just watch: when we finally lose this great leader and generous, shrewdly brilliant, and kind-hearted man, EVERYBODY on the airwaves and the net will loudly claim that they thought he was the next best thing to the Second Coming and that they’d supported him WHOLEHEARTEDLY, all along.
