...all Party-related activity and statements should serve to get that nominee elected.

That being said, the "uncommitted" are only the delegates who voted "present", and that is exactly what a convention is for, to take a vote and decide on the nominee, so a unanimous opinion is going to be rare.

Perhaps I was confused by your post too, when you said " address the ELECTION", I believe it is everyone's right to say what they think about our elections. You have revised that to "address the convention", which is a different topic.
