To Trump, all Dems are Marxist, Communist, Socialist--with no distinction between USSR, Venezuala, and Denmark.

It's just a dirty word Republicans have conditioned their people to abhor. Never mind that their followers would be for the individual policies that get called Socialist, etc. if they understood. Like healthcare, education, lunch for your kid at school, social security....

But Trump takes it further. Taxing rich people is Socialist. Any government benefits or services for the rest of us are Socialist.

It's in the same category as being afraid of immigrants and if these aren't enough, Dems are drinking the blood of babies.

The Ace we have now, though, is that Tim Walz has a talent for making Progressive policies an unapoligetic, midwestern, common sense, old-fashioned value. It won't work this time.
