12. Trump was so anti establishment

That it appealed to a lot of frustrated voters, even if he didn't deliver on what they wanted

He also has this awful habit of saying bad stuff to other politicians that makes normal people laugh and think he is their 'champion'

I know several people who disliked trump and voted for him simply because he said things they could relate to easier

I generally dislike politicians, and still vote. My barber is actually.my congressman, and he is an R but I know he's a sincere human being and generally well-liked I know the D also he ran against He's not a nice guy at all, and has a reputation for being a thief in business he may be the only R I've voted for since 1988

It's why I tend to follow the local politics more cuz I know them more
